Capezio Aria Satin Pointe Shoes 121ES Broad toebox free ribb/elastic PetalPink
The Aria ES , style 121ES,from Capezio has a broad featherd toe box. Medium vamp, low sides and heel. The throat is rounded (looking down on the shoe, the area where the toes slip in is the throat)It features quiet toe construction and a wide platform. Satin binding with elastic drawstring. Short leather outer sole. #5 leather board shank, half skived to zero. (which means it starts out full thickness at the toe and thins down as it reaches the heel. The Aria ES has a stronger shank than the regular Aria (the 121) so it will give greater life and usage and not break down as fast as the standard Aria which has a #3 leatherboard shank and is designed to break down quickly as is a "soft" shoe. Aria is not designed for the narrow foot with angled toes (the Egyptian foot) but is better suited to the Roman , Germanic or Celtic foot shape. On fitting, I will help you as much as I can without being able to see your foot in this shoe. This shoe runs a 1/4 to a 1/2 size small off of street shoe. So, for example, if you are a street shoe of a 7 narrow to medium, you should start with a 7.5 . If you don't wear toe pads of any kind, then you are done (you will want the 7.5M),Now, if you like to wear toe pads, they take up room, if you wear a silicone pad,you will need another half size up. So now you are at an 8. If you wear wool pads that are thin and worn (or toe tape, or paper toweling), you probably don't need to adjust the size further. If you wear foam pads or thick pads, or large pads, you will need to add another half size and a width. So to sum it up, if you are a street shoe size 7 narrow to medium but you want a thick foam toe pad, you will probably need an 8 Wide. Stretch Ribbon & Elastic is included.I have another listing for Aria121ES but these have a mauve polysuede inner lining and the scored sole which I think makes them different enough that they should be in a separate listing.tnshlf1E 9AiSatin binding with elastic drawstring,Plush, anti-slip microfiber lining prevents excess sweating and blisters caused by friction,Narrow heel,Bias side seam elongates the line of the foot,Standard sides,Moderate hand-flattened crown,High and wide platform for easy balancing,Reduced sole length eliminates excess at the heel,121ES: Half-skived #5 leather board shank for maximum support and greatest flexibility,Traditional stitched pleating with quiet toe construction,Best Fit: Medium to wide forefoot with toes of even length,Begin 1/2 size up from street shoe size We ship out same day Monday through Friday (unless you buy after 2pm which is when our pickup is) I have tens of thousands of dance costume items, check out our other listings!
